July 24-26, 2015.Celebrate The Thunderbird American Indian Dancers' 52nd year Preserving American Indian Culture at the 37th Annual Grand Mid-Summer Pow Wow at Queens County Farm Museum 73-50 Little Neck Parkway, Floral Park, NY 11004-1129 (718) 347-FARM starting 5-10pm on Friday July 25, 2014 through Sunday July 27,2014 at about 5pm. New York City ‘s oldest and largest powwow will feature three days of inter-tribal Native American dance competitions to which the public is invited. Over 40 Indian nations are represented at this spectacular event held in the apple orchard on the farm grounds. A large selection of quality Native American art, crafts, jewelry and foods are available. Hoop Dancers and other specials and Sunset Lighting of the Bonfire.
