The count down for our 2017 Pow-Wows continues and we are very excited about this year's events. Richmond, VA will be the host for our 26th annual event, the Great American Indian Exposition and Pow-Wow (RIR Complex located at 600 E. Laburnum Ave. in Richmond, VA) on November 10-12, 2017. The 26th Richmond, VA Pow-Wow will be bigger and better than ever this year!! WE ARE INSIDE!!!!!! Native American vendors from all over have signed up for this year's event and they will be selling some of the best arts and crafts that you will find anywhere. Fine jewelry or Turquoise anyone? Our dancers are an audience's delight, especially our fancy dancers. The Aztec Dancers have been invited to join us again this year. Sit back and relax while our flutist serenade you with some crowd pleasers or our storyteller share with you stories that are both entertaining and educational. While at the pow-wow try some delicious foods such as buffalo stew, Native Tacos, Fry Bread and so much more. Take some time at our make it and take it booth or spend time with our vendors, who are also educators. Children always love the face painting booth. The Bow 'N' Arrow Gallery is always a delight, especially for children. We invite schools and others to join us on the morning of November 10, 2017 for a special cultural exchange especially for teachers, students and homeschoolers. Before Richmond we will sponsor the 24th annual Howard County Pow-Wow in West Friendship, MD (July 22-23, 2017). Great day trip!!!. Send e-mail for more information.
