Join the White Horse Pow Wow for a special gathering taking place November 19–21, 2026. This traditional, non-monetary giveaway pow wow welcomes everyone to come together for a celebration of Native culture, community, family, dancing, drumming, and honoring traditions.
It will be a weekend of traditional dancing, drumming, family celebrations, special dance categories, meals, and community connection. Everyone is welcome to gather, celebrate, and take part in the spirit of this special event.
The White Horse Pow Wow will feature a host drum by Silent Hill, along with Head Man Nathan Fulton and Head Woman Antoinette Peters of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe. The event will also include special dance categories, a family night, and activities celebrating the youngest members of the community.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 19 – FAMILY NIGHT
Thursday evening will feature Family Night, honoring families and celebrating the tradition of name giving. This special gathering offers an opportunity to recognize family connections, community, and cultural traditions.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20 – GRAND ENTRY
The Friday evening Grand Entry is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Come join the gathering and experience the drumming, dancing, and community spirit of the White Horse Pow Wow.
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21 – GRAND ENTRY, MEALS AND SPECIAL DANCES
Saturday will feature two Grand Entries, giving attendees additional opportunities to experience the dancing and festivities.
Saturday schedule:
• Breakfast: 8:00 a.m.–10:00 a.m.
• Grand Entry: 1:00 p.m.
• Dinner: 5:00 p.m.
• Grand Entry: 7:00 p.m.
Breakfast will be served at the Rose Creek Long House, and everyone is fed. Attendees are encouraged to join the community for the meals and spend the day enjoying the gathering and scheduled dance specials.

The White Horse Pow Wow will feature several special dance categories recognizing dancers of different ages, styles, and traditions.

These dance specials are an important part of the gathering, highlighting the many participants and traditions represented at the pow wow.
EVERYBODY BELONGS SPECIAL – The event will include an “Everybody Belongs Special,” sponsored by Tinytotkenna.
TINY TOT ROYALTY CROWNING – The White Horse Pow Wow will also feature a Tiny Tot Royalty Crowning, sponsored by CarylDene Swan.
