Lake City’s original name was Alligator after Halpatter Tustenugee or Alligator Warrior and we are recognizing, giving honor to and trying to keep this history alive by teaching the history to our youngsters and those of them settling into this part of the country. We have a Battle Re-enactment, the Skirmish of San Felasko Hammock at 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday as well as Dancers, Drummers, Demonstrators, Traders, Vendors, etc. during the entire event. We have school children of all ages who come out to participate in the Kids Quest. Upon completion of the Kids Quest the children are awarded a Certificate of Completion as well as a small gift. We will have a Raffle and Drawings for various prizes throughout the day. Bring your family and your lawn chairs for a weekend of learning and fun!
