The theme of our 31st Powwow is “Indigenous Resilience.”
Indigenous resilience is not only about our ability to survive but also our ability to adapt and even thrive under the most trying circumstances.
In our fight to protect our land, water, and relatives we are healing as a people and leading with strength and love.
This years logo represents just that. With a braid of sweet grass surrounding our land and sacred waters, and a loving mother caring for her child. This is indigenous resilience; healing, leading, and protecting with indigenous love.

I was so excited to learn there would be a pow wow in St Louis where I live. The Washington Univ one day, Sat. the 16th of April was cancelled and no one posted it here. Very disappointed when I went there and no pow wow.
I am sorry that the pow wow was cancelled. We did know the pow wow was cancelled either! We rely on the pow wow committees to update us so we can then update the calendar as well.
