The Iowa Tribe of Kansas & Nebraska invites you to the BAXOJE Encampment and Pow Wow 2026.

Friday, September 18 – Camp Night
7:00 PM: Potluck at Cook Shack
8:00–10:00 PM: Fun Dances
Saturday, September 19
10:00 AM–12:00 PM: Registration
11:00 AM: Gourd Dancing
12:00 PM: Lunch Break / Registration Closed
1:00 PM: Grand Entry – Iowa Tribal Ceremonial Honor Guard
3:00–5:00 PM: Registration
5:00 PM: Supper Break / Registration Closed
6:00 PM: Gourd Dancing
7:00 PM: Grand Entry – Iowa Tribal Ceremonial Honor Guard
Royalty and Jr. Royalty Contests
University Reserve $500 Scholarship upon completion of high school or equivalent
Sunday, September 20
10:00 AM–12:00 PM: Registration
11:00 AM: Gourd Dancing
12:00 PM: Lunch Break / Registration Closed
1:00 PM: Grand Entry – Iowa Tribal Ceremonial Honor Guard
Vendor Information: $50 Craft, $100 Food, $150 Both
The first 6 drums are to be paid. Sign up Saturday beginning at 10:00 AM at the registration booth. No drum hopping. Registration is day pay for dancers.
