Festival hours will be Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM.
Entry fees: Adults $6, 6-14 and 65 and older $4, and a Family is $12.
Vendor applications will be available on September 1 and must be returned with payment by the October 9 deadline. Text your name, email, and/or address to Lowrey Hesse at 256-293-6464 and he will email or mail you a vendor application. He will also be available to answer any pow wow questions or concerns at the same number.
Hoop Dancing by Lyndon Alec, who has performed throughout the world. The Aztec Dancers, Xochipilli. Native American Drumming and Dancing, Demos of Blacksmithing and Flint Knapping, Craft Vendors with their handmade items, Author Cabot Bardem with his books on the Native Americans. Cabot is also a songwriter and musician. Fry-Bread, BBQ, Lemonade and cold drinks. Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy the Songs of our Ancestors.
As is the tradition at this pow wow, there will be a Trade Blanket after the close of the Saturday pow wow. Time yet to be determined.
Complimentary rustic camping is still available on the Tract Farm property. There is a large woodpile available for free to campers; a wheelbarrow is available for you to move the wood to your campsite. Vendor application is for up to a 12’x 24′ space at a cost of $125.
Craft booths will only sell crafts and food booths will only sell food and drinks.
Craft items must be Native American related.
No wooden swords, guns, toys, trick games, Peruvian clothing, etc.
All vendor fees will be returned if the pow wow is canceled.
