Sub Head: Enjoy a weekend of wellness on March 20, 2021

We are inviting you to join us on Saturday, March 20 for a fun-filled day to experience Indigenous cultural ways of being through an entirely virtual Collective Wellness Pow Wow: A Virtual Gathering for All Nations.  (It is very important to click on the previous link to register to dance.)

Composed by Creighton Visual, the free event will be streamed with support from community collaborators and is open to the public (visit the website for upcoming streaming details). The Pow Wow is supported by a growing number of community organizations, artists, collaborators, individual sponsors. The event begins online on March 20 at 11 a.m. MST with a traditional Indigenous-style taco cooking class (sign up today!), followed by a pow wow with a Grand Entry time of 1 p.m. MST emceed by well-known pow wow voices, Hal Eagletail and Tony Delaney. Directly following the event, a live Indigenous virtual market and live entertainment will commence and extend the fun into Sunday March 21

The audience can enjoy the free virtual concert and vendor market from the comfort of their own homes enjoying the musical talent of local artists The Healers (featuring Curt Young and Pearl White Quills), Fawn WoodEugene Brave RockDallas ArcandArmond Duck Chief and friends and allies Reuben and the Dark

No registration is required for the event and website subscribers have an opportunity to win more than $5,000 CDN in giveaways from local partners like Teal Fawn Design, Ari and Blair Salon, Lethbridge TourismMary Big Bull Photography, Boy Chief Trading Post, Sage Wellness Sam Smith of Scythe & Spade TattooShredz Skate Shop and much, much more! Audiences are encouraged to follow the Collective Wellness Facebook and Instagram accounts for updates and opportunities to win. 

The Collective Wellness Powwow is a community driven and collaborative effort aimed at spreading wellness, promoting unity, supporting each other though the tough times and is inclusive of all nations. We hope you tune in from home!
