Join Indigenous relatives from surrounding states, the Front Range, and your neighborhood to celebrate the First-Annual Colorado Indigenous Peoples Day Virtual Powwow on October 24th 2020.

There will be programming and cultural events dedicated to uplifting and centering the Indigenous community, particularly the Ute, Cheyenne, Arapaho, and Oceti Sakowin Nations, whose lands are currently known as the Front Range.

We are planning music and dance, as well as cultural workshops and political commentary dedicated to celebrating the resilience, diversity, and history of Indigenous peoples in Colorado while participating in the ongoing movement for Indigenous Peoples Day.

Due to the restrictions of COVID-19, this year we are hosting an all-virtual powwow so we hope you tune in!

The 2020 Colorado Indigenous Peoples Day Powwow will take place LIVE on Facebook and YouTube on 10/24/20, and we are looking for video submissions from our community!

Entries by video submission only.  You must register AND submit a video to be entered into a contest category.  Register for the powwow and submit your videos here:
