August 21–23, 2026, in Gakijiwanong Anishinaabe Nation, formerly Lac La Croix First Nation, in northwestern Ontario.
The pow wow will feature traditional singing, dancing, drumming, cultural activities, food and craft vendors, special contests and community events.

Saturday, August 22
9:00 AM–12:00 PM – Horseshoe Tournament and Bugeseh Traditional Game
1:00 PM – Grand Entry
5:00 PM – Fish Fry Dinner and Hand Drum Special
5:30 PM – Hand Drum Special
7:00 PM – Grand Entry
Sunday, August 23
10:00 AM–12:00 PM – Canoe Races in honour of Pernell Ottertail Sr.
1:00 PM – Grand Entry
5:00 PM – Dinner, raffles, draws and announcement of winners
Daily exhibitions for adults in regalia will be held Saturday and Sunday, with $5,000 in category specials. Special ceremonies take place before noon on Saturday and Sunday. Breakfast is provided daily on Saturday and Sunday.
Food and craft vendors are welcome at no charge.
Special contests include youth, adult and Golden Age dance categories, a Bells Only Special, a Hand Drum Special, horseshoe tournament, canoe races and jigging contest. Registration for the Bugeseh Traditional Game is held daily.
Canopies are not permitted within the dance arbor or in front of the bleachers, as they hinder the view of the pow wow for visitors.
