The Gateway Foundation proudly presents the 3rd Annual Disability Awareness Powwow on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at the NSU Broken Arrow Campus in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma!
Whether you are a dancer, a family member, a vendor, or a visitor interested in experiencing Native American traditions, everyone is invited to come together for this meaningful gathering. Come out and be part of this special community celebration!
Event Details
Event: 3rd Annual Disability Awareness Powwow
Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026
Location: NSU Broken Arrow Campus
City: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
Doors Open: 12:00 PM
Gourd Dance: 12:30 PM
Grand Entry: 6:00 PM
The afternoon begins with doors opening at noon, followed by the Gourd Dance at 12:30 PM. The evening’s Grand Entry is scheduled for 6:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to get settled and enjoy the gathering before the evening’s activities.
Admission Prices
Admission is offered at the following rates:
- Adults: $10
- Youth: $5
- Children ages 3 and under: FREE
Dance Contests and Prize Money
The Disability Awareness Powwow will feature several dance contest categories for participants to showcase their talents, regalia, and traditional dancing.

Contest winners will compete for the following prize money:
- 1st Place: $500
- 2nd Place: $350
- 3rd Place: $200
