Indigenous Peoples’ Day – City of Philadelphia 2021

10:00am PIPDC and the Native American Indian/Indigenous Community will be in full regalia, to gather at City Hall and walk down Market Street in Peace, Unity and Respect tp our Ancestors, Culture, and Heritage from City Hall to Front and Market Streets to end at the statue of Chief “Sachem” Tamanend and the Lanape Chief.
Immediately following the walk to Chief “Sachem” Tamanend Statue on Sunday, October 10th from 12pm-4pm we will be celebrating the 11th Annual “Philly Indigenous People’s Day” at 3000 s. 56th Street, Philadelphia PA. Featuring Dancers, Drummers, Speakers, Vendors, Children’s Activities and more.
On October 11th, at 5:58pm the City of Philadelphia will be lit up in the lights of Purple around the City, Liberty Place, and the PECO Building and Boat House Row in Celebration of “Philadelphia Indigenous Peoples Day.”
