REGISTRATION IN FILM, VIDEO, DIGITAL ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY FORMATS
THERE ARE TWO CATEGORIES:
1. YOUTH CATEGORY: FROM 13 TO 18 YEARS OLD
2. PROFESSIONAL CATEGORY: FILM AND VIDEO MAKERS, AUDIOVISUAL ARTISTS, VISUAL ARTISTS AND PHOTOGRAPHERS.
DISCIPLINES THAT PARTICIPATE IN BOTH CATEGORIES: EXPERIMENTAL FILM, SHORT FILMS, VIDEOART, DOCUMENTARIES, VIDEO GAMES, CONCEPT ART, MATTE PAINTING, FRACTALS, DIGITAL PAINTING, DIGITAL SCULPTURE, DIGITAL ARCHITECTURE, ANIMATION, PHOTOGRAPHY.
THE THEME: IT MUST BE INTIMATELY RELATED TO THE COSMOS AND UNIVERSE OF MOTHER CULTURES ANYWHERE ON THE PLANET

Artwork will be submitted by July 1 / 2019.
The Film and Video Festival will take place at the Mackinac Island on August 30th, 31st, and September 1st.
The submitted works must be original and of property of the author.
The title and credits must be mentioned.
Up to two works per participant are accepted.
Works should be in English, or subtitles.
In audiovisual productions, send copies or video file. The resolution of the videos must be at least 1280 x 720, at 24/25/30 fps. QuickTime (.mov) or MPEG4 (.mp4) formats with codec H264 will be supported.
Regarding the works to be submitted by physical format: the printing of the rendering should not exceed 100 cmt. Support canvas, vinyl, Giclee or photo paper.
In digital format minimum resolution of 300 pixels per inch (300dpi), a minimum size of 6 megapixels (3000 x 2000 pixels) and sent in JPG format.
In the case of Interactive Art, video games are accepted for console, for PC and mobile devices , It is also welcome the live demonstrations of digital art (speed painting interactive installations, etc.)

AWARDS TO THE WINNERS.
Every winning work of the FIRST MENTION TO THE ARTISTIC MERIT receives as a symbol recognition, a silver button, named The Tinku – Encounter of the Sun and the Moon, accompanied by the respective certificate.
The ABSOLUTE WINNERS in each category receive a medal forged in noble materials by consummate Goldsmiths of Peru, accompanied by the respective certificate.
The absolute winners in all categories, also receive a Scholarship to participate as a Program Resident in the following Festival, to be held in the context of the VIII edition of the Intercontinental Biennial of the Indigenous Art in the Mackinac Island, Michigan, , from the 4 to the 7 of September 2020.
The scholarship will include:
Full accommodation and feeding; Mobilization and permanent guidance to the interior of the host counties; and free of charge Artistic Residence.
All the costs of the School – Workshop and Laboratory of Collective Creation, including, such as didactic materials; tickets to museums, exhibitions, shows or concerts part of the of the VIII Intercontinental Biennial of Indigenous Art. If you do not use this scholarship at the appointed time, it is extinguished.
There will be a maximum of 1 winner per category. The Jury may suggest an exception.
