The Morongo Band of Mission Indians will host their annual Thunder and Lighting Pow Wow September 27-29, 2019 in Cabazon, California.

The Pow Wow is held at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa.

PowWows.com will stream the Pow Wow live!

Possible Categories: Fancy Shawl, Old Style Jingle, Northern Traditional, Southern Traditional.
Women’s Category will be announced Saturday Evening.

5-MAN HAND DRUM CONTEST
Adult Men (18+) Only
1st- $1000, 2nd- $800, 3rd – $600
Consolation Pot to be split between non-placing groups.

Driving Directions

Morongo’s Thunder & Lightning Powwow is located just off I-10 in Cabazon, approximately 20 minutes west of Palm Springs. Coming from the West on Interstate 10, you can exit on Morongo Trail. Turn left (North) off of the exit. Turn right (East) on Seminole Drive. Follow the signs to the pow wow site.
