The Chippewas of Nawash First Nation is hosting this event. What is a POW WOW? They are a way in which First Nations socialized by dancing, singing, visiting, renewing old friendships, and making new ones.
The POW WOW will take place at Neyaashiinigmiing in the Cape Croker Park on Sat, Aug 19 and Sun, Aug 20. On Fri, Aug 18 the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation will also be hosting a Talent Night. This will also take place at the Cape Croker Park between 6:00pm-10:00pm.
POW WOW General Admission is $5.00 plus a non-perishable food item
FREE Admission Elders 55 and up
FREE Admission Children 1-6 yrs of age
FREE Admission for The Neyaashiinigmiing Talent Night
NO DRUGS, NO ALCOHOL, NO DOGS
