Join us for a home-style gathering, rain or shine. We will be outdoors on the grass if the weather is good and in the community room if there’s rain or high winds.
This is a four hour giving pow wow. We are gathering new, warm, washable blankets to ship to Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and monetary donations to cover the shipping. These items will got to the White Plume family of Manderson, who will then distribute them.
Our host drum is Blue Star. All singers, drums and dancers welcome. Flute players and storytellers welcome.
Come put your good energy, your prayers, your moves, your songs on our humble little powwow, celebrating its 30th year. This is the kind of gathering where everyone’s contribution and commitment matters.
You can make donations for shipping in person, via mail, on our website, or with Venmo, Zelle or PayPal using our email – redbirds_vision@hotmail.com.
To donate with a check via mail: Redbird, P.O. Box 702, Simi Valley, CA 93062. On our website, look for the donate/get involved page, where you can use any form of plastic via a secure PayPal donation link.
