I’m excited about the upcoming Santee Indian Pow Wow on the Saturday, September 23 -24 ,2017. I’ve informed family, friends and associates concerning this event. My. Mother’s family is Cheek Indian and my father’s family is African American. We’ve been taught and lie too so much by the white man. I would like to know more about my mother’s family. This is the reasons I started attending the Indian Pow Wow to learn their culture and to get educated by my own people.
