The 2026 Creek Friends’ Festival Community Day is a vibrant cultural celebration hosted by the Southeastern Mvskoke Nation, welcoming the public to experience the richness of Mvskoke heritage. Guests can enjoy Native artisans, live demonstrations, storytelling, and traditional foods while connecting with the spirit of the community.
A highlight of the day is the powerful lineup of traditional dancers, including hoop dancers whose intricate movements tell visual stories, jingle dress dancers whose rhythmic steps carry healing traditions, and fancy shawl dancers known for their graceful, flowing style. Grass dancers bring energy and history to the arena with movements rooted in tradition, creating a dynamic and meaningful cultural experience for all who attend.
