Williams Lake First Nation presents the second annual Speaking Our Truth Competition Pow Wow! $66,700 in payouts, including $26,000 added to the drum competition ($10,000 for 1st prize).
Categories: Traditional, Grass, Chicken, Fancy, and Jingle.
Featuring:
Orange Regalia Special, Hat Pull Special, Potato Dance Special and more. Plus Sr. Princess, Jr. Princess, and Little Brave Pageants, Hand drum contest, Lahal (Stick Games), and over 20 vendors with food, art, crafts, and more.
Admission:
Elder/Youth (60+/6-17): $5 minimum ($10 for the whole weekend)
Adult (18-59): $10 minimum ($20 for the whole weekend)
Kids 5 and under free of charge.
