The public is invited to join the festivities, which bring together Native Americans and non-Natives to honor the generations with indigenous dance, song, arts, and traditional crafts; April 6.  

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) and Inter-Tribal Student Council (ITSC) will host an all nations Pow Wow, Saturday April 6, 2019, in the Sapp Fieldhouse. Grand Entry starts at 1 P.M., and dancing continues until 6 P.M. Admission and parking are free.

The UNO Pow Wow is named “Wambli Sapa Memorial Pow Wow” to honor the legacy of Fred Leroy, a prominent Ponca leader and respected elder, who passed away a few years ago. Fred Leroy was a great friend and supporter of the Native students on the UNO campus.

The public is invited to join the festivities, which bring together Native Americans and non-Natives to honor the generations with indigenous dance, song, arts, and traditional crafts.
