December 16th (10 am-8 pm) and 17th (10 am-4 pm), 2017

Join us in North Florida at Mission San Luis (Florida’s Apalachee-Spanish Living History Museum & A National Historic Landmark) for two days of Southeastern Native American dancing, music, crafts, cultural demonstrations, storytelling, living history reenactments, and more!

• Music:
Headliner – NAMMY Winner Joy Harjo (Dec. 16 – evening; Dec. 17 – afternoon)
Painted Raven
Deer Clan Singers
Rita Youngman (Dec. 16 – two performances; Dec. 17 – one performance)

• Dances:
Warriors of AniKituhwa – Historic Cherokee War and Social Dances
Mississippi Band of Choctaw – Choctaw Social Dances and Cultural Demos

• Storytelling in the Apalachee Council House (a spectacular reconstruction of the largest historic period native building found by archaeologist in the Southeast)
• Stickball Game Performances
• Native American Craft Vendors
• Daytime Sky Viewing and Nighttime Stargazing (with powerful scopes!)
• Activities and Crafts for Kids
