The Shinnecock Indian Pow Wow returns for its 80th annual celebration over Labor Day Weekend. Enjoy a family-friendly celebration featuring Native American culture, traditional dancing and drumming, music, arts and crafts, storytelling, fashion, Native foods, children’s activities, and dance and drum competitions.

Over $50,000 in prize money will be awarded through drum and dance contests, dance specials, and competitions.

Grand Entry:
Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7:00pm
Saturday, Sunday and Monday at 12:30pm

Event Hours:
Friday: 3:00pm-11:00pm
Saturday: 10:00am-11:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am-11:00pm
Monday: 10:00am-6:00pm

Adults: $20
Children ages 5-12: $10
Seniors 65+: $10
Military with ID: $10
Children under 5: Free
Cash and credit are accepted at the gate. Free parking is available.

Visitors are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and shoes and bring sunscreen. Hats, umbrellas, blankets, and lawn or beach chairs are encouraged, as the event takes place outdoors and not all areas are shaded.

Travel Information: The pow wow grounds are accessible by car, train, bus, and shuttle. The Long Island Railroad and Hampton Jitney serve Southampton, with a powwow shuttle available from the Southampton station.
