The Puyallup Tribe of Indians presents the 47th Annual Puyallup Tribal Labor Day Pow Wow.

Grand Entry:
Friday, September 4 at 7:00 p.m. sharp; First 15 drums receive Drum Pay
Saturday, September 5 at 12:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 6 at 12:00 p.m.

Salmon Bake: Saturday, September 5 from 5:00–7:00 p.m.

The weekend will feature dancing, drum competitions, Puyallup Tribal Royalty contests, Native American vendors, and Native American food booths.

Head Staff Specials:
Head Woman’s Women’s Jingle Special — 1st place: $1,000, star quilt and gift; four consolation prizes of $200, plus a blanket and gift.
Bucky Old Elk’s Couples Special — men and women.

Prize categories include Senior Golden, Junior Golden, Teen, Juniors, Senior Adult, Junior Adult, and Drum Contest, with substantial prize money throughout the weekend.

Outgoing Royalty Specials:
Senior Warrior Che Ortiz-Conway: 16+ Iron Man Grass Special — winner takes all, $500.
Senior Princess Znya Berys: Teen Girls Traditional Special — 1st: $350, 2nd: $250, 3rd: $200, plus three consolation prizes.
Junior Princess Valentina Carrillo: Junior Girls Pink Dress Special, ages 6–12 — 1st: $250, 2nd: $150, 3rd: $75, plus five consolation prizes and additional gifts.

Important Information:
No alcohol or drugs permitted on the grounds.
No dogs.
No bikes.
No skateboards.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
24-hour security/enforcement by the Puyallup Tribal Police.
