The American Indian Cancer Foundation(AICAF) is excited to announce that the 12th annual Powwow for Hope™(PFH): Dancing for Life, Love & Hope will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2023.
This year’s event will welcome the community back together in person at Base Camp Facility in Saint Paul, MN. Since 2020, PFH has been a virtual event.
We feel it is time to welcome our community, cancer survivors, and caregivers back in person and honor all those impacted by a cancer diagnosis, including our relatives who have journeyed on.
Activities include Silent Auction (12:30pm-4:00pm), Rock climbing wall, Lacrosse, Healthy Feast Catered by Christina Valtierra (Native Food Perspectives), Luminary Bags

All drums and dancers invited!
Invited drum groups include Mississippi Ojibwe and Hoka Hey. Drum groups will be given an honorarium of $250 per group

2:00pm – Honoring Survivors + Pink Shawls Survivor
3:00pm – Special Guest Recognition (time subject to change)

6:00pm – Closing Ceremony
6:30pm – Healthy Feast
