October 4, 2025
For 72 years, we have gathered in Chicago to dance, sing, and be together. A pow wow is where our community celebrates who we are, and it is also where we welcome friends and neighbors to join us. If you’ve never been to one before, this is your chance.
You will see dancers of all ages—from tiny tots to elders—enter the arena during Grand Entry. You will hear Smokeytown, our Host Drum, carry the songs that guide the day. You will have the chance to watch specials, including the Woodland & Grass Memorial Special, honoring those we remember through dance.
Beyond the arena, you can eat fry bread and Indian tacos, visit with Native artists, and shop beadwork, jewelry, and art. It is a day full of culture, community, and connection—and you are welcome in it.
