Inviting all of you to visit the 35th annual Nansemond Nation Indian Tribe Pow-Wow in Suffolk, VA, August
19-20, 2023 (rain date is August 26-27, 2023. ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE YOU GO). The Pow-Wow
will be held at Mattanock Town 1001 Pembroke Lane Suffolk, VA 23434. Beautiful Pow-Wow grounds
located on the shores of the Nansemond River, ancestry home of the Nansemond Indian Nation.
Times are: Saturday 10AM until 6PM Grand entry at 12 noon. Sunday gates open at 10AM and close at 5PM Grand entry at 1PM on Sunday.
This is a free family event featuring the best in American Indian dancing, singing, arts, education, arts, food and entertainment. Parking is free and the site is handicapped accessible.
Donations are always welcomed.
Nationally renowned drum groups Stoney Creek and War Paint are co-host drums.
Service animals, except snakes, are welcome only. No other pets allowed.
