Celebrate 40 years of Native art, culture, and tradition at the 2026 Red Earth Festival in downtown Oklahoma City. Held at the Oklahoma City Convention Center on August 1–2, 2026, Red Earth Festival brings together Native artists, dancers, cultural demonstrators, and tribal representatives from across the United States for one unforgettable weekend.

The festival features a nationally recognized juried Native art market showcasing fine art, jewelry, pottery, beadwork, sculpture, textiles, baskets, and more from Indigenous artists representing many tribal nations. Guests can also experience vibrant pow wow dancing, cultural presentations, artist demonstrations, family activities, youth art exhibitions, and educational programming throughout the weekend.

New for 2026, Red Earth Festival will introduce exciting bracket-style dance competitions that bring a head-to-head tournament format to the arena. Saturday will feature Women’s Jingle vs. Fancy Shawl, while Sunday highlights Men’s Traditional vs. Straight Dance competitions. Dancers will compete through bracket rounds, including a secondary bracket that allows competitors multiple opportunities to dance and advance. Prize payouts include $800 for 1st place, $600 for 2nd place, and $400 for 3rd place, creating an exciting new experience for both dancers and audiences.

Saturday also includes a special VIP Shopping Hour from 9:00–10:00 AM, giving guests early access to the art market before the festival officially opens.

Whether you are a collector, dancer, artist, educator, or first-time visitor, Red Earth Festival offers an opportunity to experience and celebrate the richness and diversity of Native cultures in the heart of Oklahoma City.
