This is a 2 day intertribal powwow event celebrating the gathering of North American tribes to the site known as the “Hardaway” site.
This site dates back thousands of years and is the home of the Rhyolite, a stone that was formed from a volcano which is now known as Morrow Mountain state park. Natives from all over the Western Hemisphere gathered to collect this stone for tools.
Admission is free.
Saturday: Park Opens 10;00am; Grand Entry 12:00 Noon; Park Closes at 7:00pm
Sunday: Park Opens 12:30pm; Grand Entry 1:30pm; Park Closes at 6:00pm
