The 16th annual IIAmericas Celebration (IIAC): Honoring Indigenous Cultures, Dance, and Arts is presented by the Indigenous Institute of the Americas, a 501 (C) 3 nonprofit Texas organization.
The IIAC gathering reflects the complex and diverse history, contemporary lives, and resilient adaptations of American Indian and Indigenous cultures today. American Indian and Indigenous artists, crafters, and Traditional product makers from Indigenous Nations across the Americas will be represented.
Special Attractions include amazing sounds of the Ottertrail singers with Head Singer Al Santos and Comanche Thunder Singers with Head Singer Tim Yellowfish

Youth Pow Wow- Prize money and fun
Gourd Dance on Saturday with Comanche Thunder.
Special Guests, MC Harold Rogers and the Plains Indian Championship dancers Evelio Flores and the Mitotiliztl Yaoyollohtli La Danza Mexihka (Azteca), present their living, evolving cultural tradition filled with the artistic and spiritual tradition of the Mexihka.
Lauren and Sunny Ah Sang founders of Siva Ori Polynesia, helping to pass down familial traditions and heritage practices, performances, luau’s, and Annual Festival!
Haylee Chiariello, Head Twirler TCU, Miss Sugarland, Miss Texas contestant, and Member of the Cherokee Nation, will teach the art of twirling, her story of emergency brain surgery recovery to performing at the Fiesta Bowl.
Kelly Tudor, Indigenous Educator, Teaching survival skills for youth.
Alicie Barrientez, Indigenous Educator, Teaching the history of fire building demonstrations.
Stickball workshops, demonstrations, and scrimmage with Eli Hickman and the Little Brother of War organization.
Tribal Hymns in Tribal Languages Sunday morning
Community Contests, longest hair, fastest braiders, LULU, Hand drum, Ribbon Shirts and Skirts, and who knows what else will happen!
Best Children’s Education and craft area ever!
Seed Ambassador program displays designed for community needs and school education.
Bring your lawn chairs, refillable water bottles, and money to buy precious heirlooms. Plan to attend all three days. Each day brings its own unique entertainment and enjoyment. This family-oriented event will keep children of all ages entertained. The beautiful outdoor environment is perfect for the youth pow-wow, crafts, stickball play, and learning activities. Come hungry for Frybread, Indian Tacos, Stew, and traditional festival foods.
IIAmericas Celebration adheres to Pow Wow protocols. No Alcohol, Drug, or Firearms allowed, modest dress code for men and women entering the pow-wow circle. No dogs are allowed near the pow-wow grounds. Our event is a rain-or-shine event so please dress according to the weather so you will be comfortable throughout the day.
