10:30am – 4:30pm
We are hosting a symposium here in Leander, Texas (27 miles northwest of downtown Austin) with speakers from Indigenous Cultures Institute in San Marcos who will speak on the topics of repatriation, NAGPRA, the Indigenous history of Central Texas, and other related topics. It is not a powwow, but the purpose of our event is to raise awareness, build community, bring about healing, and celebrate our shared humanity.
