10th Annual 2023 Medicine Lodge Intertribal Powwow
September 23rd & 24th, 2023
Honoring the 5-Tribes at the signing of the Medicine Lodge Treaty of 1867, the Apache, Arapaho, Cheyenne, Comanche, and Kiowa.
All are welcome at our Saturday and Sunday Intertribal Powwow.
Saturday’s event kicks off at 2:00pm with Gourd Dancing and the 7:00pm CALLING SONG following the supper break. Saturday dance contests include Youth and Golden Age Categories.
Sunday’s event begins with Gourd Dancing at 12:00noon and the 4:00pm CALLING SONG followed by Men’s and Women’s Categories.
Food truck and authentic vendors will be set up around the dance arena.

NOTICE: Any dancers wearing regalia are invited to walk in the SATURDAY Morning Main Street Parade at 10:00am for the Peace Treaty Festival. Powwow participants will dance at the drum during one stop along the 3-block walking route. Please register for the parade at the powwow office at 9:00 – 9:15am Saturday morning, the parade shuttle leaves the powwow grounds at 9:30am. Payout upon return.
