The 2025 Midnight Sun Intertribal Pow Wow event will take place in beautiful Fairbanks, Alaska. The Midnight Sun Intertribal Pow Wow is organized exclusively to bring together Alaska Natives, American Indians, and First Nations People of Canada in a pow wow setting to share similarities, diversities; to honor the elders and children; and to educate the general public of the heritage of the indigenous people of North America.
The Midnight Sun Intertribal Pow Wow is a traditional pow wow meant to enrich the lives of all people, educate the general public, and honor the elders, children, and veterans. The planning for this yearly event began in 2000 by a small group of dedicated folks who felt a need for an intertribal gathering in interior Alaska. In addition to the Native people, including the Athabascan, Inuiaq, Yupik, Tlingit, Haida, Aleut, & Tsimshian: Alaska is home to a wide variety of transplanted Natives people originating throughout Turtle Island (U. S., Canada, and Mexico).
