About the SACNAS Intertribal Pow Wow 2024
November 1, 2024
This event will take place during SACNAS NDiSTEM conference (National Diversity in STEM conference). SACNAS stands for Society of Advancement for Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science. One of the biggest cultural celebrations during the conference, the annual Intertribal Pow wow brings together all of our participants to celebrate through Native American singing and dancing.
This event is free and open to the public, seating will be provided.
Arts and crafts vendors from our marketplace will also be in attendance.
The dance arena is blessed before the Pow wow – this is a substance free event due to this. The Pow wow goes from 6:30 – 9:00 pm.

A Pow Wow is a Native American tradition that brings together many different tribes and communities. Pow Wows are cultural celebrations that include dancing, singing, socializing, crafts, arts, and food.
