About the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate 158th Annual Contest Wacipi
The oldest powwow in South Dakota and the second oldest in the nation is held right here in Roberts County. This annual event has activities for all including a 5K, softball tournament and a rodeo for both adults and children. There will be dancers performing throughout the weekend along with craft, art and food vendors selling products.
