Hi. We didn’t get a listing for the “Golden Lake Powwow of the Algonquins of the Pikwak”. We searched and found there is the “Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation Powwow”. It is happening this weekend, Aug 17-18, 2019. I think it is the same thing. Thanks for the tip! 🙂

I would like to attend the Golden Lake Pow Wow and was wanting to know if there will be one this year open to the public. With the pandemic still going on I wasn’t sure if it would be cancelled or if people that have been fully vaccinated could attend wearing a facemask. I have a friend that is coming a distance to visit and she is interested in learning more about the native culture and would really love to attend the pow wow. If it is going to go ahead could you give the date and time please? Thank you, P.Storie July 1, 2021

  • Would like to attend your pow wow as a vendor.sweetgrass and sweetgrass items.as a vendor a reply would be appriciated.

    • Hi Marilyn. We do not organize all the pow wows. We just list the pow wows for everyone. You will need to reach out to the pow wow directly. Here is the contact information that I found: Jamie Sarazin at (613) 625-1109. The instructions say to leave a message. I hope this helps!
