The Modoc Nation is proud to host our very first Maklaks yeGa (People celebration) Pow Wow, October 25, 2025, in Wyandotte, Oklahoma.
This pow wow is an exhibition and social gathering, a time to enjoy ourselves, celebrate our culture, and share in the joy of community. We are so excited to welcome everyone! To our local neighbors, friends across the U.S., and relatives from out west in our homelands to come together in unity, laughter, and song.
The yéGa Pow Wow will feature traditional and contemporary exhibition dancing, social dances, gourd dancing, drumming, vendors, food, raffles, and special recognitions. This is a free community event, open to all.
We give thanks to everyone who participates, supports, and takes an interest in this celebration. Your presence helps us honor our ancestors while creating new memories together.
Come join us for two beautiful days of culture, connection, and community. We welcome you with open hearts!
