The public is invited to attend the Eighth Annual Nulhegan Abenaki Heritage Gathering which will take place on Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th from 10am to 5pm.

The event will be held at the Mount Norris Scout Reservation, 1 Boy Scout Camp Road, Eden Mills, Vermont 05652, which is off of Route 100, just north of Johnson.

This is a drug and alcohol-free event.

Throughout the weekend there will be singing, drumming, and dancing.

It is a gathering of our people in the most traditional sense,” he said.

For those needed accommodations, there is a bunkhouse and shelters with electricity available, which must be reserved. Please contact Lucy Cannon-Neel at [email protected] for more information or to reserve a shelter.

The Nulhegan Band of the Coosuk – Abenaki Nation is a Vermont-recognized tribe. Tribal Headquarters are located at 1366 May Farm Road, Barton VT 05822.
